Revamped iPod Nano overlooked?.........

With all the hoopla over the iPhone and the iTouch, we think the little iPod Nano new features have been overlooked. There is navigation by scroll wheel, not touch. The Nano now comes in two versions, a 4GB silver model for $149 and the 8GB version which is offered in five colors for $199.

Nano looks like the iPod Classic but is much, much smaller and now plays video. The 2 inch diagonal screen is suprisingly bright and easy to watch. Apples says it is 65 percent brighter than the previous Nano, it shows videos, photos and album art quite well and has a new menu screen. Along the left side sits the standard menu choices, i.e., music, videos, photos, podcasts and a few others but on the right, you can scroll down and you see images of your content. It might be album art if you select music or a picture of your children if you chose photos. The images will change randomly every few seconds. When you scroll, you can click on an album cover and it will list all of the songs on that album. Go ahead and click on it and hear the music.

So as you will see, the Nano may be small but has become mighty.
